About Our School

K2 Generation School (K2G) is located in Kailahun Town, Eastern Sierra Leone. It is a pre-school for 2 to 5 year olds. In 2023, Lyande Kaikai founded K2G to promote children's education, sports and health in Sierra Leone. The school was built with the help of many generous donations from individuals and organisations. Kailahun children benefit from an exceptional learning experience thanks to their support.

The compound has three key areas:

The Main Building will host school activities and indoor events.
Playground features two climbing frames, slides, swings, trampolines, and cycle lanes.
Growing Garden with beds to grow plants, fruits, and vegetables.

The preschool is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. The children are provided with a freshly cooked lunch made with local ingredients and snacks throughout the day.

I am delighted to be the Head Teacher of this amazing new school in Kailahun and I am proud to serve our children, parents and community. I work with an experienced and dedicated team of teachers and staff to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that fosters a love of learning. We believe that every child is unique and has the potential to succeed. Our goal is to provide individualised attention to each child, helping them to develop their full potential.
